View Full Version : Converting a 220 pot to 110?

Anyone done this? I have a 110 as well so the wiring looks easy enough. Just want to be sure that all I need to do is buy a new heating coil and rewire it.

Hard to tell. Who makes the pot?
But yeah, for the most part all you would need to do is change the element, and possibly the cord end.

There are Different Thermostats Too as well as the plug. $8 + shipping for 120V.

There is a resistor in the thermostat that would be too cold on 120 and would cause the unit to run hot.

Lee calls it a Thermostat but it's really an Infinite Control like an electric range.

I have a extra thermostat. So I guess I just need the coil.
