The biggest one is 10oz. This is hope out there for some good wheel weights. I had to dig in a 55 gal drum and these big stood out from the rest. I had to make sure and get them in my bucket.

Those are 'purty! I grabbed a few 8 and 9 ouncers from a truck stop tire place the other day. They didn't have many, but there were some dandies in there.

Is it worth saving big tire weights for future value or should I melt 'em in with the rest?

melt em into ingots .. best way to save any lead , exept linotype mono- stereotype so people know what they are buying ...and easier to sweeten without adding a whole ingot

Huh. I never even realized they were a big deal. That's what all the WWs I've come across look like.

most of the smaller weights are 2-3 ounces or smaller, with one steal spring clip each.

if the weights are 3 times as big with still one spring clip, that would be a big plus.

Less junk to scrape off the top of the melt.

i have a few that are over 16 oz's still.
the bigger truck are usually harder than the car weights.
i like to scatter them throughout my smelting getting about 8-10 per 60 lb pot of melted car ww's.

My source for WWs has one bay/machine that deals with the big tires. I get about 1 and a half 5 gallon buckets from them each month. 1/4 of a bucket are weights like that, wish they all were.
