Springfield M2

Hello All: I'm in the process of building a Springfield M2. I plan to utilize an 03 barrel and reline to 22lr. Anyone have experience installing a liner in an 03 barrel? Will a 5/16 drill follow the bore without being piloted? Anyone have shank dimensions and extractor cut information? The only parts I'm lacking are the ejector assembly and Springfield barrel, (referrably from the 30's) Bore is not important. The usual sources have not been able to help me out. Anyone know a source? Thanks much, Dan

You can drill a barrel with out an unpiloted drill but your results will not be good enough to install a liner correctly, I have installed many liners and you must us a piloted drill of the proper size for the liner to be installed. You do not have a barrel ? I have several sources pm me and I will try to help you.
