Customer brought one in today, I could found very little information on it. Seems to have been made around the turn of the last century, sold by Sears for $2.50. Shot 22 short ammo through it's 8"bbl.

Anyone familiar with them?

There was one that had a bronze barrel liner and was really neat looking. Ive actually handles two of them. It wouldn't last a long time as the liner eventually wore out.

There was a really great article on them I just read somewhere in the last couple of weeks... I thought maybe it was dillons blue press, but no.

I'll try to track it down.

edit/ I don't recall how I stumbled across this the first time.... Thought it was well written though.

My mistake, correction to the rifle being a Model 11... wooden stock rather than metal..

So is the No.11 an airgun, or 22short? It seems like I'm reading conflicting articles about it. Wish I had it in front of me still... that frame does somewhat resemble a vessel in which compressed air could be stored...

This is the Hamilton No.27. I bought it for $50 in Indiana and gave it to a friend who had a beater with a good forearm. I shot it with Aguila Colibri ammo just fine.
