Question on Pacific Dies

I broke a deccaping pin on my .270 die set. Does anybody know if othe manufacturers decapper would fit into my Pacific set? Maybe hornady or RCBS?

Hornady bought out Pacific and the tools you see being produced by Hornady are basically the old Pacific designs with some other additions. I would think that Hornady could help you with pins for your decapper die. Give them a call. I have found them to be first rate on customer service. James

I have several Pacific dies. They take either RCBS or Lyman pins. It depends on the design.

I like my Pacific dies, but I haven't bought any in 30 years.

I decap off of my main press so I don't run with any decaping pins in my Pacific die set.
