I keep going to his site looking for his copy of the 270gr SAA bullet and it always says "out of stock" and no place to place an order for when it's back in stock.

What he has on his website are usually over order molds from group buys. Just becauce the mold is listed on the website does not mean it is a regular production item that is continuously produced. If you want aspecific mold that is not in stock - I believe you would have to wait untill a group of them is run for folks who have gotten together in a group buy to order whatever his minimum number of molds might be for a production run. I could be incorrect - or he may have changed the way he's doing business - But asking him is the way to go.

Mihec is NOT a stock mold maker. He makes runs of certain, specific CUSTOM molds. Some
are popular enough to repeat, but there are really no stock molds, just occasionally a
few leftovers from a custom run.

If you assume he just makes all these molds and keeps them laying around you are
going to be very dissappointed.

Miha, I've said it before AND I'll say it again.

If you kept the 200G .45HP molds as a stocking item, I think you'd be surprised at how many you sell. ;)

I have to agree with the above statement. There are certain boolit designs, such as the above one, or the H&G #68, and others that it seems like they're always being rerun, perhaps Miha should make a large overrun of these commonly run moulds so he can keep them in stock. I mean it's really nice to do a production run knowing that they're all sold (aka group buy), but I'm sure some of these common designs would sell well enough that making substantial overruns so they can be stock items shouldn't cost that much more to do. If it was me doing the mould making, I would do an overrun equal to half the group buy number of moulds, that way there would be moulds available for people between runs.

Miha is a smart guy, and is the only one with access to his actual sales records. My guess
is that he is plenty smart enough to figure this out. Also, getting stuck with some 'left over
molds' even for a few months for our convenience, when some other design has people clamoring
for it NOW, would not seem to be the best use of his limited time and resources.

I also liked the new web page but was a little disappointed that in the upcoming group buys I didn't see this:

Mihec 311410 (http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?t=129160)

Perhaps soon.

Mihec, Yeah, I'm kinda chompin at the bit and you did say the web page is a work in progress and don't bookmark it yet.

What would be really great is if you could go over that thread and give us a final on what will/can be offered based on what was asked for and the price for each item. That way I could move it to an active group buy thread from the discussion thread and start breathing again. There are 45 molds spoken for so far and I'm sure that will go way up once in the active group buy section.

Thanks Miha, any and all help is greatly appreciated.

It's a good one. I've been shooting a bunch of them in my 357s lately. I've got the similar mould for my 44s too.

Miha is a craftsman and I wish him the best.
