Here she is, all cleaned up and she slugged out at .317 :drinks:

3430

3431

Now as soon as the GB Mold gets here I can do a little Boolit loading for her and see how she likes cast WOOT :castmine: so I can :Fire:

Very nice Icer. What kind of rifling does it have? You say it slugs at .317?? I see some beagling in your future.

She has the old style rifling, not a microgroove queen, Shot a few factory loads thru her and she shoots good nuff for my bad eyesight with the open sights, should be a good brush gun for the whitetails here, old 32 Special is what it be, Bore was tight all the way thru with the slug, didn't have any tight or loose spots.
Might have to go with a 320 or 321 as cast boolit and see how it prints on paper, I came up with a twist rate of about 18 so I'm thinking it should shoot cast really well for a 1952 vintage rifle :) :castmine:

Excellent find!! I just bought a 1948 vintage in way less nice condition. I just love those big fore ends. I wish mine was in 32 special. Had to settle for a 30-30. Maybe someday..........
