Dacron fillers

I just got a new to me m1 Garand from the CMP. I want to shoot it using cast boolits. I have read on here about using fillers. I went out and found Polly-Fil. Is this the same as dacron? How much do you use in grains? I am a newbie to fillers but I have shot alot of 2400 loads in my Springfield 03.

Yup, poly fiber is dacron. Check the next section below the military cast boolits called favourite cartridges. There is an excellent sticky on using fillers.
