I am wanting to load 155gr WW cast boolits in my 300 Savage, Remington Bolt rifle. I also want to use Unique powder. I need some suggestions for how much powder to use. I am only killing paper at 50 yards, then I might work my way up to 100 yards.

Probably a load of 10 grains of Unique is a place to work from. Is your rifle the 722? If yes, I have the rifle mentioned for the last 50 years. Robert

I'm also a owner of a 722 in 300 Savage, though I've only had mine about 6 - 7 years.

You haven't said what mold that your working with but, I assume it's a GC bullet. Size your bullets no larger than .310 and use 16 - 19 gr of 4227 or 4759. You should find a load in that range that will shoot well under 1" at 50 yds.

I just got to thinking, the gun was my Mom's and she gave it to me when I was young, now I am old, it too is probably 50+ years old. Time has a way of sneaking up on you. [smilie=w:
