This is my first time woking with Goncalo Alves. I tapered the bottoms 15 degrees. Tung oil and machine buffed finish. What do you think?

I have a hardwood store local that stocks alot of exotic woods. Lucky me ;).

I have a plank of padouk (spelling?) I might make some from it. It is red with some nice grain.
I have tons of walnut, oak and cherry in the barn but no nice grain. I chainsawed it in my woods when trees fell or were hit by lightning.
