I use a pile of wc820 in handguns and want to try something different. Anyone use both of these powders in mag handguns have opinions on accuracy velocity metering ect? thanks guys.

From a Lyman 1958 Cast Bullet handbook - "SR-4759 does not work well in pistols and revolvers with their short barrels, and is intended for reduced and midrange loads in rifle cartridges only". The new IMR books say it "shines" in reduced large cartridge loads.

you have to remember though that in 1958 a .357 was considered a large capacity high pressure round. ALot of the newer guns like the 454 475 and various 500s do well with slower burning powders because of increased case capacities and higher pressures.
