Mine is under the snow too. Andy that is a nice setup must be easy to just scrape off a bucket full in no time. Our berm isn't half as full of scrap as that one. Joe

Wow I dont know where you guys shoot but the berm at the local range here is just a pile of dirt and the bullets all get burried in it. You may find ten or twelve bullets laying around and shoveling is tedious for the amount you get out of it. I spent 3 hrs shoveling and found maybe 30# mostly all jacketed bullets. Maybe we just have too many ranges around for the amount of shooters you never meet people even when there for hrs with test loads..

Budmen, me too. Try going right after it rains and the lead all turns grayish-white in comparison with the dirt. You can pick up a lot of lead then.

wow, i have to dig too.
i have been digging all the rocks out for quite a few years now.
i done the rifle range and had it pretty well rock free, then they come in and dumped new berms.
i'm better off just buying it.

Aint nobody gonna just give you fresh lubed and sized bullets. If ya aint willing to work for free lead, shoot factory.

Man, what a gold mine but it's too far to drive for lead. MIne's poor in comparison to that./beagle
