Hello, I was wondering how many of you adhere to the all organic/mineral lube formula?
I tend to favor organic..usually a beeswax base with anhydrous lanolin, castor oil, etc. Any thoughts? Thanks!

i seem to mix them back and forth.
even the old 50-50 is a mix.
bees wax and parrafin and soy wax as carriers.
lanolin, and carnuba, and moly and atf and lith stearate.
thats what in my rifle lube.
b-wax,parrafin,carnuba and mineral spirits is my tumble lube.
b-wax,alox parrafin.lanolin and carnuba is my revolver lube.
and lanolin and castor oil suspended in 90% rubbing alcohol is my case sizing lube.

Uhhh, I never even considered organic vs mineral. I usually use recipes that are easy to make, two to four ingredients, and most of the time mix organic and mineral components, I think...

Right now I'l playing with my version of Speed Green (beeswax, synthetic 2-cycle oil, carnuba wax).

So, you favor bullet lubes that contain carbon atoms? That IS the definition of organic. Can't quite see the point, myself...

I only pay attention to not having petroleum products in my BP lube.
