I've had this little 32 Remmy model 14 on my mind for days ,cause ' the trigger suuuccks ! Heavy, creapy, about as smooth as 60 grit. You'd think in 75+ yrs it'd be worn smooth but not this lil' gem. Little tid bit here,if if you get the urge to disassemble the bolt assy in yours .....do it inside a box . Those little springs and caps and guides will bounce right off your glasses and the ceiling get stuck in lights ,roll across the kitchen, and have the cat cowering in a corner. Well I polished the trigger some and the rod end it rides on ,they looked like washboards. Put it back together and it was better but still creepy and felt like a GI 2 stage . See bolt dis-assy above. I look at the sear the work there was mirror polish on both sides and 100% contact. There's a cap and guide rod for the firingpin spring that pushes on the lever that's sear on 1 end and rides the trigger on the other looks like it was cut w/a rusty punch. So ismoothed that out some an polished it up a bunch . What a difference ! It borderlines on a decent trigger and w/the teflon slick'um' its almost good . 2 hrs well spent, even if it was on a "modern" 1935 now obsoleted rifle and cartridge.

The trigger graphite blacked out to show contact points.

The sear lever tip also grafited . It looks damaged in the picture, its the contact paterns and how it works w/the other engagements.

The dry teflon was just not working out . I washed it out and graphited the contact points rather thanusing asst oils or greases as dirt is a greater concern here in the desert than rust.
