Does anyone have experience with loading cast bullets for this handgun?

My buddy has one, it it leads the barrel from end-to-end with factory lead bullets, and almost as bad with RCBS 45-250 Keith.

I'm thinking it is caused by the over-sized cylinder throat.

I'm considering trying to load the bullets into some MagTech .410 brass shotshells I have in an effort to reduce the distance of jump and help with the over-sized throat.

Any ideas appreciated.

Have you measured the cylinder throats yet? Personally I would use the old Lyman #452424 but thats me, but if the throat is not measured its all for nothing.

Wife has a Judge and after many rounds of Lee 255 grain RN FP WW cast boolits, never a leading problem.

You might google .450 Mongo and see what you think.
