Does anyone know who slicks Marlin actions in Canada? Fixing up/preventing Marlin jams, smoothing triggers, feeding, etc.

There must be someone who services the CAS people.

303: goto www.leverguns.com and in the "resources" section there is instructions on how to do this.

It is a 2 hour job the first time, it is simple to do and believe me, you can handle it. No need to send it off as long as you can work sand paper and a small stone.

I keep telling people this as it is really easy to do, and assembling and disassembling the gun several times helps you understand how the gun works , which is a good thing.

Thanks Randy. It's not for me. I don't own a Marlin. A friend of mine just started CAS and is looking up all the necessary business, clothiers, etc. He asked me if I knew of a shop that would look at his rifles.

I will tell him about the resources section.

Get him to check out Captain Baylor's Ranger Camp. This site has a real good links section with just about everything you could want for CAS. It also has lots of helpfull articles etc.

If you can field strip one to clean it, you can also slick it up with a few minutes and a et of stones. I encourage your friend to do his own work,,,
