Just helped a fellow that bought a house and asked for help with reloading. Seems he paid the former owner for all his gear he left behind in the basement.
After sorting out a Lee 3-hole turret press, RCBS 505 scale, Lyman trimmer, and the dies he wanted, he gave me all the rest.

One of the odd things I found was a few dozen 12ga copper shotgun shells. I can`t identify the makers mark but thet are dated `92.

Searched the net to no avail. Who made these? Never have seen such a thing...

Regards,

Scott

Have you checked them with a magnet? They might be copper plated steel.

I think I remember seeing some Russian ammo some years back that was copper-plated steel 12 ga ammo.

I have some full Brass `12Ga shells that were in my nieghbors barn when he cleaned it out; kind of, there might be who knows what stil in there. ( He also found boxes of ammo and a 32 rimfire pisol that may have been in there 100 years.

the Brasss 12 Ga were WWI issue to USNAVY. They make them just so sailors could polish them.

I recall back in the 60s when 00 Buck brass case ammo was issued to the military for guard duty. I had about 25 and loaded them a few times with 11 guage wads. Love to have abunch of them again./beagle

Does it look like this (middle one)? If so, it's Russian buckshot from the 1990's. Someone gave me one years ago.

I knew I had one somewhere, just had to dig through about a hundred pounds of assorted ammo I've accumulated over the years. I really need to go through and get rid of a bunch one of these days.

I've got a tin of 25 of those DU brass 12 ga. rounds sitting here. Some day I'll either shoot them or sell them. I still haven't decided which.
