My New Romanian M44

i got this at a pawn shop today for 80 bucks OTD. This thing has some gruesome history to it, i thought i would share what i think with some pictures to back up my storys....


Here it is an overall picture


Then i think this is a bullet graze
2 kill marks that fit the neck of a fired 556 brass...
3 perry marks that fit a m16 bayo perfect.

Then just the over all condition on the rifle, it has no blueing left no import marks no nothing, i think this was a bring back from Vietnam

I think one of the kill marks was with the bayonet for the fact i found blood stains on it, and i put some hydrogen procide or how ever you spell it on it, it fuzzed, there is also blood behind the trigger

The picture with the stock with the cross bolt. The serial # looks like electro pencil. You have a better pic? Some of these were marked on the inside of the bolt raceway. Is there anything there? It would be cool if it was a bring back.

I dont know that there were any Romanian M44s in VN.Nice battle Rifle but highly unlikely it was used in VN.

I could be wrong but if so please direct me to the info you got .

Normally they have a I think it was a Bukgarian stock on them. They were marked with a 02 stamp on the stock. They imported a bunch of the guns back around 98-99.
