Is this a good price?

I stopped by a local gun store today at lunch just to see if there was anything new and there amongst the mil surps, ar's and bolts was a Marlin lever action in .35 Rem. I asked to look at it and it looked like new. Just some slight discoloration on the white parts. It did not appear to have even had a scope on it. It has a crossbolt safety though. The rifling looked good and like normal rifling, not microgroove. The price was $239.00. Is that a good price?

It's a very good price. You won't find many deals like that, providing the bore is in pretty good shape.

Sounds like a very good price of 35 Rem 336's in this area. I don't know about your area of the country.
