I have 6 sticks of lyman lube (black) that I bought 30 years ago - and it was probably old then.

Can I still use?

What can I use it for? I don't plan to se it for any high speed projects - maybe some slow 45-70 rounds (no BP)

Still in good condition - still in wax paper and the box. Orange box

thanks

I don't get too fussy with lube, I've used some really old lube (with a heat source) in some rifle and pistol rounds. The lighter stuff in it will evaporate some, over time, but, it's usually still good as a lube.

ye olde lamp black and sheep/mutton fat , if it's still soft yes sir you can use it as is if not melting it and adding judicious amounts of an oil will bring it back ( lanolin, olive oil,two stroke oil ,tranny fluid or even more sheep fat etc ) to desired consistency, as to what you can use it for ...mild to medium should be ok , at the fastest velocities alot of other things come into play and it may work for some yet not others

Thanks for the input.

I'll just use it up....

Then I'll buy some from White Label (right name) - looks like good prices...
