Yes, as if you couldn't tell, I have some Red Dot I am trying to use up. The 200 grain lead bullet is the only likely candidate I have.
I am looking for a 44 spl level kinda plinking load.
I have all of the performance loads in the Mag I can handle right now.
Any suggestions out there?

I use 5 grains behind a 429421 for a plinking load, if you consider .45 hardball ballistics a plinker. Sure feels like it in a redhawk anyways.

I'm sure I'm not much help as the only handgun I've ever used Red Dot in is the .380. At < 4 grains per load, you'll have that Red Dot for a long time.:)
