My friend finally got his old H&R solid frame 32 S&W fixed. It is an 1904 model, made some time in the early 1900's. Tiny little gun, but works good now and the gunsmith has said it would be OK to shoot with light loads. I have loaded up some light loads with Unique and some RCBS 32-90-CM boolits. It will probably only be shot for a few rounds and put away, but it should be fun.

The gun was one of my friend's grandfather. It was broken probably 40 years ago, and this is the first time it has been operable since. George Simmons was my friends grandfather, and unfortunaly he passed away on Tuesday. He was 91 and he and his wife celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary last Tuesday. We had hoped to get it done before he passed away, but while the gun was finished, he passed before we could get together to shoot it. It is a neat little gun.

Two 32 S&W rounds flanking an RCBS 45-500-FN boolit.

To give you an idea of the size of the littel thing, here is a pic in my rather large hand.

Neat, that would still make a great carry piece.

Do those little 32's even come up to the crimp groove of that bullet?

Cute. The .32s look like more fun than the .45 500 gr. That is a tiny revolver.

I was a 22lr like that the other day. About the same barrel length. Nickled too. I was interested till I tried to see the sights. Sigh. No way these eyes can use those "sights". Sure was a neat little gun though.

I had an old Iver Johnson break open in 38 SW. It hit a foot high at 10 paces.
This gun was impossible to hold much less shoot so I did this to it.
Now I can point and shoot it in the dark and put them in a paper plate at 10 feet.
I also made a "Pocket Hider" holster for it. If any one is interested ins some photo's I will take and post some.
Click on it to inlarge the photo.

Neat lil gun!

And it looks to be in pretty good shape considering its age!
