Went in to look to see if they had any lead. Looks like someone cleaned themout of WW's but they had a barrel w/plain lead in it. Some were factory ingots, so went in to see how much.
Guy told me 20 cents on soft lead and 9 cents on WW's. I perked up and said prices have come down, so I want at least 200 lbs. He backtracked and said that is what we PAY, you pay 80 cents. Pretty healthy markup it seems. Of course, now I know what the tire stores will get paid for them!!
Did buy 68 lbs of the factory ingots, all they had. They also had some chunks , don't know what from, that were about 12"X 6" X2" that I suspect was also pure.
That gives me about 200 lbs of pure. That should do me for a long time.
