From Accurate molds, 1 ea 312230E single cavity mold. Now that's service! The 312230E looks to be a base pour version of Don Eagan's MX4-30ARD which has had great success in the cast boolit benchrest game. I got it to fill up the throat and neck of a 30/40 Krag. Running it through some heating/cooling cycles now and should be casting some by this evening! Thanks Tom!

No whispering Rich, 2000fps loads. Seated to the top groove, the base will be just above the neck/shoulder junction, the OAL will be 3.09, which will feed through the magazine. The nose ought to be into the rifling. If it works out, I'll be shooting it in the vintage match at Camp Perry this year. I bought one of NOE's Whisper molds, but the nose casts a tad small for most of my Krags. I ordered this one with a .302-.303 nose, haven't cast any yet to check that out.

Well the nose isn't quite as big as I wanted it, .301, but that's easy enough to fix at some later point. It will ride in my better rifles and that's what matters. Naked, with the high tin alloy I use it weighs 216.3gr, so it should be slightly over 220gr checked and lubed.

She sure is Jethro! Got some cast and loaded, waiting for a warm day. Checked and lubed, 220gr exactly. At an OAL of 3.09" they'll go through the magazine and stick solidly into the throat. Can't wait to see what they'll do.
