Several threads have folks talking about who makes dies for what press. Thought maybe there should be a thread about how to use a specific die in a press other than the original design. So for starters. and as an example
You can use the Corbin and Blackmon point form dies (and perhaps other dies as well) in a standard 7/8 by 14 press by threading the die into the business end of a RCE punch holder or your own home made adapter that has the 5/8 x24 thread and a hole up the middle. Mount the point die upside down above the ram and either eject the bullet manually with a correctly sized pin or with one of the auto eject systems shown on so many other reloading presses. You will likely have to build or buy a bottom punch that fits your ram system but I note that there are many punches already out there from several die makers that would suit.
