I FINALLY GOT TO SHOOT the latest from the group buy world. the 290 gc fatter 44 from ww is 298 with a gc and lube. looking for a soft slow load i went with 14.5/15/15.5 of wc820( my lot is 2 gr slower than aa9) with an oal of 1.68x.
from the 20" marlin mg no leading sized 432, and went 1106/1141/1165 fps
the 15.5 went sub 1 inch at 25 yds with iron sights. i know i can go hotter but i am trying to get a 1000 fps load for the 7.5 srh that i can shoot in the carbine too.
the 15.5 went 972 fps in the srh. shot the same loads in the srh but was watching the velocity and not working on the accuracy.
think i will try 15.5 and 16 with both guns next and see how it goes
