I was wondering if some one could measure the meplat size of each

also i am interested in what size each is dropping , trying to get a better idea of what the .356 actually drops at.
or if i will have to size more than .002 or .003 off of the .358 to get them to .357

it sure is handy being able to shoot as cast if a mold will drop where you need it to.

i hear some say their .356 drops at .357 or .358 , others say it drops to small
i also wonder if it has to do with the age of the mold , were there a few runs that were small and now they are fine or is it a craps shoot.

I am going to be starting to cast for 9mm soon
i know my gun likes the 124gr jacketed golden saber and that is my SD round , as this is also my carry gun

but i haven been able to determine the flat nose size and compare the 2

The rnfp that I have measures .235" and the 120 TC with lube groove is .190". My mold for the rnfp drops ww+ 2% sn at .359, the 120 tc drops at .358. For a 9mm Auto I'd be inclined towards the 120TC for two reasons. My RNFP drops at 130 grns and if you have a short throated 9mm you might have to seat the rnfp deeper than you would like. Also the fatter profile might not feed as well. The 120 TC design feeds well in anything I've tried it in.

My lee 358 FP mold drops at 361. I resize it down to 358 for my CZ and due to the profile, stuff it down to 1.01oal with a mild charge.
