Had 3 pots going!! I cast 15lbs of 311041's and 6lbs of 460 335. Ron cat about 30lbs of H&G 68's and Kevin fixed his pot then cast 10lbs of 452374 and 8lbs of 356402's !!! The BS flowed but everyone left as friends and want to do it again soon. Clint

Sounds like fun. I cast up 10 pounds of 462560. They weigh in at 504 grains, so 10 pounds isn't all that many. But I like 'em! :)

It's just grass and water, with some serious microbiological action.
I'm thinking pine shavings might smell better.

A casting party is not as beneficial as a smelting party. I had one of those a couple months ago. We easily did over 1200 pounds.

A casting party can be a lot of fun.

The last Smelting party I had we cleaned 1350lbs of range lead and 400lbs of WW plus sorted 7 more buckets of WW. Was one long hot dirty Fun day!!!! As far as beneficial I think both have there place and time! The main thing is good friends gathering to do something to gather and have fun getting something done as a group! At the end of the day it the fun you had together that make life Better!!!!!!!!!!!!! Clint [smilie=l:
