Took my 94 in .32 Spl to the range today, had some loads I wanted to try. I've been reading Larry Gibson's posts about LeveRevolution powder from Hodgdon and I decided to give it a try. Larry suggested I start @ 34 grs so I did, excellent advice. I loaded five each @ 34.0 (#6), 34.3 (#6A), 34.6 (6B), 34.9 (6C). I was thinking 35 grs, glad I went w/ Larry's suggestion. Boolits are RD's 323-170 50/50AC and cases are WW...for now. I can't seem to get a consistent crimp with the WW cases. I only had one called flier in 20 rds (6A), had a couple of others I'll blame on the cases. Ordered some Hornady cases yesterday, wish I cold score some RP's. Peep sight was nice & clear today, poor old eyes were having a decent day. I think load 6A and 6B need a closer look, will load up more of each and try again soon.
Thanks, Larry!

Thanks, guys. Load density was almost 100% w/ the loads she liked, Larry. Will back up to 34.0 again w/ the Hornady cases when they show up, suspect they'll be a bit thicker.

I'm testing it in 30-30 @ 25 grn. Groups REALLY tightened up, like half'd, scoped @ 100 yds - read 1-1/2" 4 cloverleafed. Next batch is 30-35 grn under a 170 LFN, mixed brass, Recluse, 31r 'M' die and FCD'd. Got to get used to the recoil now. You must be in the DFW area, reading your targets.

Yes, I'm about an hour north of the metromess.

Hornady cases came in yesterday. Pretty impressed, no burrs in the flashhole, very uniform length and weight. Box prevented damaged case mouths. Uniform case length and wall thickness made for some pretty crimps. Odd thing is they're about 5grs lighter than the WW cases. Can't recall why I don't much care for Hornady cases, may have to re-think that. Decided to repeat the previous try loads of 34.0, 34.3, 34.6 and 34.9 grains of LVR powder. Heaviest charge is 98-99% density, was slightly compressed in the WW case. May even drag out the chronograph pretty soon, getting interesting.

Hornady cases cut down on the flyers but eyes were a bit off today. Didn't help that I played with my Uberti in 45 Colt first and (may have ;)) developed a bit of a flinch. As I suspected the Hornady cases needed a few tenth's of a gr more LeveRevolution powder than the WW cases.
I'm afraid that with my eyes a globe front sight will be necessary to shoot tighter or farther. For those of you looking for the 5th round for group 6A, it's in the boolit hole @ about 5 o'clock.
I'll chrono the load I decide on soon, I promise!

Thanks, Larry. Think I'll go with 6B @ 34.6 grs, first two from a cold barrel were touching. Now I need a front sight that doesn't cover the target @ 50 yds. Lyman 17AHB looks about right.....hope so, it's on the way.
