Changing Lyman Orange Magic

I need to modify some Lyman Orange Magic
Cleaning up an I found 9 tubes of it ---- why- O why [smilie=b:

Bought it way back when and it just did not work out for me
bought it when i could not get anything else

So what can i add to it to make some thing i can use

I shoot 30 cal rifle
44 mag/rifle
9/38/357/40/45

what i want is a lube i can use for all of the above but not so hard as the orange magic

I would also consider something softer than the RCBS lube as long as it would stand the heat of the summer in the trunk.

when i size/ lube bullets i put them in a plastic tub(or zip lock bag) till they are to be used

I made 1 batch of home made lube that was softer and bit like RCBS lube but red/ pinkish sticky but stayed on bullets --at least it did not lead barrels

so i have
baby oil
castor oil
9 tubes of OM
bees wax
and other stuff you find around the house and garage
some red wax (from cheese)
did have some layalin around (wrong spelling)

I also have 3 tubes of RCBS lube bought in 95 ( well I was cleaning up)

I have a heater

Want a lube that can sit in the sun or the back of the car and not melt on me

I only have the one sizer.
If i can get a lube that i only have to change the sizer die it would be great

Add some Bullplate to it and make speed purple.

I used to use Orange magic in a blend of 3 orange magic/2 lyman super moly/1spg. Used it for years and it worked very well.

Have a bit better blend now, but the above was good

look for the felix lube recipe.
you got the mineral oil and the castor oil cook it and mix it with the o/m [don't forget the ivory soap flakes] add the spoonfull of lanolin i bet you'll like it.
you will wanna make a double sized batch seeing as how you got the beeswax and carnuba too.

One of my friends said i need to add alox to the orange magic

so I just picked up can of alox 350, but have not done any thing yet,

from what i have read most people mix this 50/50 with bee's wax

if i only add a bit to soften the orange magic 1/4% or 1/8% in stead of 50/50
will i still be able to use in in rifle or should i only use this for low velocity rounds
less than 1300fps ?

read some where of someone adding 2 stroke oil,
does the 2 stroke oil make a faster or slower lube

Ford SD, ATF will work, as will STP, Vaseline, etc. The softer lube will still be good for 1,800fps, maybe more.

atf will soften the lube also.
i add atf to my lube for my winter blend.
white lithium grease will work too.
