Greetings from the east side of the Big Blue and Happy Australia Day mates !
Had I known my wife would have baked a cake and weŽd a slung it to a spare condor. Met some right fine Ausie Troopers in Germany in mid 1974 at a Boy Scout Intercamp.

I heard it on the news, the news girl said it was the Australian 4th of July. I thought it was kind of lame to put it that way. They deserve their own day in its own right. I apologise for that.

Ha Ha no offence taken Mate, my middle son was born on 4th July, I wanted to Name him George Washington Cohen. Alas wife yelled at me and mum hit me around the ears, but you can bet I always remember your 4th July.

Let's hear it for New GF's! Mine picked me up in my allergist's clinic! I had gotten my shots, and was minding my own business, reading a 'Flying' magazine, when this woman walks up to me and asks 'Were you in the Air Force?'. I answered Yes, that I had retired from the AF, and she said 'My husband flew P-40's at Guadalcanal, but he died 2 years ago - and I'm a widow'.

Well.[smilie=1:

I said 'Well, I'm a widower - What are you doing tonight?'. She lives 5 minutes away - that was 3 months ago, and we're doing nicely, thank you. By the way her husband was considerably older than she...
