Same deal with WW around here. The only free lead source I've found is indoor range scrap.

Do you live near water/marinas, check for old sail boat keels(lead).

Talk to your garbageman. 'Round here, they are small independents and the crews have a keen eye for salvage. Might take a while, but eventually everything goes in the trash.

Put a pair of channel locks in your pocket and go for a walk at a truck stop.
They got big'uns there.

OK
I got my chuckle.
Find a demolition contractor he comes across lead.
Do you have any buddies who drive trucks and you haven't swiped their WWs. They will know truck repair shops and tire places.
I've asked permission to walk around the parling lot of garages, tire shops, and truck stops picking up lead.
Scrap yards!
Recycling places have all sorts of stuff, one time a barrel full of 44 mag brass. That barrel paid for lot of lino and babbit. I don't own a 44 Mag, I've got a sensitive nature so had to up grade to 45 Colt in BH.
Old and new pewter is a delight to make bullets with.
