I think the OP was saying just that. The more people you let know that you cast, the better you odds of getting little gifts. I get random deposits of WW's in my front yard. After a couple of phone calls I find out who to send donuts or beer too.

Yep, that's it. In casual conversation I mentioned what I do with lead and some time later I was given close to 80lbs of it. All dive belt weights made from WW's.
When thanking him, I joked at what the street value was. Said he didn't care and it should keep me busy for a while. It pays to spread the word.
