Many of you know that AMT (Advance Manufacturing Tech.) manufactured the front and rear sight assemblies for the original Browning Black Powder Cartridge Rifles (BPCRs) and some of the more current Winchester BPCRs. In late 2011, I was contacted by AMT and informed that they are no longer selling the sights, but will continue to supply parts for existing sights until their parts inventory is depleted. You may have noticed that the sights are still listed for sale on their web site (http://www.advancemfgtech.com/gun_sight.htm) because AMT has not figured out how to modify the listing accordingly, but they have removed the link from their home page, which no longer lists sights under the product catagory.

By the way, Brownells also has some of the parts in stock, and are listed at the following link: http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=0/sid=377/schematicsdetail/1885-High-Wall#.

Wayne, I was just on their web sight a day or two ago to check on prices because I am selling a rifle + a new in the box sight set to go with it as extra. I got the sights from them a few years ago and did not remember how much they were.

All rifle sights had been pulled from their web-sight as of then. I found nothing.

??????
Too bad, they made a good sight for the money.

Chill,

The sight page is still there, but the link has been removed for their home page product listing.

OK, I am sure you are correct. I went to their home page to price them and found nothing to even follow to where they might be. Course, me and this devil box don't get along too well. I used to say I had one foot in the last century... Now it is two centuries ago!

Chill,

Here's the link to their sight page, which is still active:
http://www.advancemfgtech.com/gun_sight.htm

But, as I mentioned earlier, this page is not accessible from their home page because they've stopped sales of the sights.

I have wore out two MVA Soule sights over the years sent Them in had total rebuilds and also one set of scope mounts. A few years back MVA contacted me and wanted my very first set of mounts as it is Ser# 4 it now resides on Jim Gier's Deck on a special mount. I got a brand new Creedmoor Mount in Return.

All of the ABOVE NO CHARGE>!!!!

Correct, All my web looking was before you made your first post and I have not looked since. Sold the rifle and sights with out the benefit of checking it out.
Responded only because of the odd timing coincidence. I wasn't being thick.

Thanks so much and have a good one.
