I picked up a bucket full of brass and stuff today and I am planning to sell off the stuff I can't use but I have no idea what this stuff is worth.

If you can help me out with a value it would be greatly appreciated.

The first ones have a note inside that says 198- 136gr cores .38

The second ones have no note. There are 184 with a few that are swaged that measure .429" and weigh 220gr. The raw core weighs 200 grains.

they are worth what you can sell them for To me they are only worth the value of lead.

Yep! Value of lead per lb. is my estimate too. About $1/lb maybe a little more.

I originally bought them for the lead but thought they might have been of more use to swagers.

Guess I won't feel so bad throwing them in the pot then. I take it these should be treated as pure lead?

Value of lead????? Not in my eyes. Those have some time put into them.

I am currently looking for some cores that I do not have to make. I am one who would rather pay a little bit more than pay with my time (2 little ones). Unfortunately not looking for what you have.

I recently purchased about 500 .429 cores and paid $20, in a heavier weight.
