I just received a copy of the Hodgdon 2012 Load Manual which boast 5000 loads using Hodgdon - IMR & Winchester Powders. It also has some other helpful info as well.

If anyone would like some load data from the Manual, I'd be happy to help. Just PM me or ask right here.

In the mean time, if anyone would like to get there own, the cheapest place is directly from the Hodgdon Site. Their price is $11.99 shipped to any address in the USA.

That is way better than paying a $3.00 or more special handling charge, in addition to postage, which some retailers are charging because the order is not $25.00 or more. That's ridiculous!!!

It is also on some newsstands or store magazine racks. I even saw them for sale at an airport last week, which amazed me.

As always, it is a good source for data the latest powders and bullets. This year, the emphasis is on Hodgdon's new CFE223 powder.

Just a friendly reminder, the reason for the copyright on the material is so that we each go out and buy our own copies, which justifies Hodgdon's expense in developing the data and publishing costs.

They are not a non profit organization. (and, no, I don't work for them)

I bought my copy off of the newstand at the local B&N store.

I absolutely agree with you, 100%. However, I don't think helping a few members with load data on a few rounds, will do any harm in that respect.

Since HP-38 is W231, you can use that data, also.

If you have time, do they list anything for PB cast boolits in 500 S&W ?
400gr or 500gr.
thanks,
Jon

What happened to the free manuals that were always at the reloading store? All the powder manufacturers gave them away.

For the 500 S&W the manual only shows info for the 370gr LGC and the 440gr LGC bullets. The data for the 400gr and the 500gr is for JSP bullets.

Do you want the data for any of the above?

no thanks, I was just curious.
I have data for the Lee 440 with GC.
when I get my NOE GB mold for the 400 and 500,
I'm sure there will be discussion of loads.
thanks for checking,
Jon
