Two months ago i sold a bucket of emties 36lbs- $36.. I doubt the markets went down from there.

cabezaverde, call your scrap yard and ask. The one I go to doesn't want them mixed, they say it's too easy to mistake them for the aluminum casings when they are busy and trying to work quickly...Ray

Kreiger waste paper on the north side of Rochester was buying brass for $.90 last time I was up there. It's been awhile though.
I'd give Lyell scrap on Scottsville Rd a call. They're about half a mile north of Jefferson rd, and closer to you.

At the place I go the price is $1.51 per #.
