Hi folks, new to the site and have almost gone blind reading all the great info here!

Looking for help finding load info for a 9mm using Lyman 356242 in 120gr using TiteGroup powder. Looking for something for the range. Using a Ruger LC9 and a CZ 75BD. Moderate velocity is fine, will buy store bought for personal defense.

Found several loads for the above boolit but not with the Tite Group powder. Any help or references to published data would be greatly appreciated!

Can't help with what you need Buzz, just wanted to welcome another new guy aboard.

Have you tried Hogden's website...they put most of their load data on there. Find one for 120-125 grain LEAD loads and start at the bottom and work up. I am trying the same here soon, can't decide whether to go Titegroup or HP38...maybe even Silouhette. I need mine to be in the >1000FPS to make minor power factor.

kshock - tried Hogdon but like most of the 'close' data it doesn't list the 'exact' bullet shape or weight. Looks like most 'consensus' is for about 3.6 to 4.0 should be the safe range. Think I'll give our friends at Hogdon's a call and see what they say - they don't do email for this kind of thing - probably a liability thing.

Another thought - does anybody have a Lyman Cast Boolit book, 4th edition that has the 356242 120gr RN listed with tite group?

The "consensus" matches the Hodgdon website for the 125 LCN. Which would be safe for the 120. Like kshock suggested.

I'm about to try Green Dot (have 8# for shotgun use). Have some 'test' loads made up for the range when this rain quits. Not real happy with the tite group - same problem you mentioned and seemed to have a really sharp recoil even using 3.6 grains.
