I just picked up a French 1892 revolver and want to cast up some boolits for it. I was just wondering what mold I should get for it, and wondering if anyone had any reloading data for it. Thanks!

I just got one of these also. I have the 32359, but I think that I may have to send it out to have the bands enlarged. Mine casts around .324, seems to be small.

Check with Veral at LBT. That flat point design has real stopping power on man eating jack rabbits.

Just found the mold. It's a .329" diameter at 110 grains.

How is the lockup on yours? Mine has a little play when the hammer is dropped, wondering if it is normal. Good cheer- did you just order a recommended mold for that revolver?

Also, are you both using fiocchi brass in yours? Mine produces buldged cases with the fiocchi.

Hey there.
I have used Focchi and also reworked 32-20's.
For the mold, I talked to Veral and got him to make a mold for it.
It would probably be pretty easy to get a .32 pistol mold opened up to suit your cylinder.
On the lock up, it has some wiggle when rocked back to full cocked position but then gets firmer when the trigger is pulled.

Thanks for the replies, my 1892 locks up like a bank vault. It's made in 1894 and looks like it was made yesterday.

Mine is somewhat loose when it locks up. The hand looks a little chewed but the rest of the revolver is pristine. I'm thinking about sending it out to a gunsmith in texas to have it welded and formed again.

Favorite Load? Any chance of a close up picture of that LBT bullet?
