OK,
I'm looking for 41 Mag "Pistol" load for RD TLC411-255-RF for My 6" Redhawk.

I'd prefer a faster powder than H110, 4227 and the like.
I'd like to use Unique.

The Lee #2 Manual mentions 6.3 gr. of Universal (starting load) for a 245 gr. lead bullet.
The Ranch dog mentions, among others, 10.8 gr. of PowerPistol (Max load) for this Boolit in a rifle.
http://www.ranchdogoutdoors.com/bin/TLC411255RF/data/loadnotes01.pdf

Now both Universal and Powerpistol have similar burn rates to Unique.

Has anyone here used Unique with Heavy boolits in a 41 Mag pistol ?
and care to share where I should start ?

Does someone have a program like "Quickload" they would plug in the specifics of which I am asking ?

any help is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Jon

The Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook

#410426 240gr. #2 alloy
7.0 Unique 930fps 15,400 cup
10.0 Unique MAX 1265fps 38,100 cup

That's out of a 10.135" Universal Receiver

Thank you very much Rico !

That must be from an older copy of The Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook
I have the #4
that wasn't listed.

I use 5.5 to 6 gr. Unique with a 250 gr. LBT in my M 57 Smith. It is accurate and feels like a .38 wadcutter load.
