So I'm patting myself on the back, I picked up a used Scott-Murray tumblers at a silent auction yesterday for $5.00, owner thru in 4 bottles of media (for rocks) he said he did both brass & rocks in it. I have an old Thumblers tumbler and this one seems even heavier duty. Needs a little cleaning but both end seals & liner look to be in great shape as do the drive belts & rollers.

Sounds great, Tom.
For that super low price, you could do a lot of fixing and still be miles ahead. Sounds like it's ready to roll with just a little cleaning.

Here is the lowest priced supplier of SS tumbling media I've seen:
Pellets LLC (http://www.pelletsllc.com/)

I'm toying with the idea of trying to polish some rocks but since I've never done this, wouldn't know where to start. Quartizte Az rock show starts next week I could drive over and get a few sacks of rocks but don't know one from the other.

What neat thing about the barrel on this one it has two lids because it has two separate compartments which will let me do two different calibers at the same time and not worry about having to separate the cases later.
