Half a world away

Greetings from Afghanistan. I hadn't had boots on the ground here but a couple of days before running into one of our own forum members ("Saz"). Talk about a small world. Fortunately I'll be home in time to hunt moose, sheep, caribou, etc.

Thanks all. Just to be clear, I retired from active duty in 2006 and went to work for Uncle Sam as a Dept of the Army civilian. My position has me deploying with the troops on a regular basis. This irks my wife of course, but she is a good sport and very supportive.
