You need to laugh at this one. This barrel was bought on line. It was tinkered with trying to fit it and needed a new link, the other was filed out. There were grind marks in the wrong place and it did not work so it was sold. The man brought it to me and I fit it with some work.
The gun really shoots great even though I do not see the point of it.
Makes a great carry gun! :kidding:

Don't say I didn't warn you.

Well, whenever he runs out of ammo, he can use it as a bat.

Thanks for the laughs, I will show them when he picks the gun up.
I wonder if he has a holster for the front of his pants! :groner:

Now all he needs is one of those real long magazines to go with it...

I'd drill it full of holes and slip a cylinder full of insulation over it and.....voila... look ma no earplugs. I need one of those.

Can we say quick draw . . .

Point of it? No idea other than sometimes a guy just needs some toys.

I'm sure it was a good idea on paper. In practice, who knows. I guess it all depends on what he plans to do with the gun in this configuration. It's definitely not an IDPA gun. Hunting? Mall ninja?

Just fun, he does not carry and does not shoot competition. He just seen it cheap and bought it.
You need to know how to fit a barrel in a 1911 and since it was not done, the price was very good.
All of you would love to shoot it, laugh all day!
I can see you running around with a BBQ rib in one hand and this thing in the other! [smilie=w::veryconfu

If the barrel is over 16 inches long you may have just broken BATF rules and made a long barreled pistol

You can have the longest barrel you want, just not the shortest on your rifle.
