Looking for a form load using unique & BRP's 129 gr kurtz. Did a search & found some for the 7 m/m tcu, 5 grs with a 120 gr, would this be alright ? It's a 14" bbl Be using cci s/r primers. TIA.

When I fireformed for my 7TCU, I just used full power loads.

Should be fine.

you want that first load to be full power.
you won't have a fully shaped case, and will just be work hardening the brass a little more for when you do fully load it.
if you have a partially pressurized case, you won't have the shoulder pushed forward properly.

Ya, just an idea. Don't remember how much 4198 I have, know I have an extra can of unique.

Yep, I just load 'er up and let it rip. Next time around it holds more of the same powder.

I use WW748 with the BRP 129 Kurtz in my remington 700 6.5 TCU, all it holds is a good load.

I use full power loads in my 7mm and 6mm TCU's.

PITA when your toys are 4 state's away. I do normally use the starting loads of imr 4198 for the 6 & 7 tcu. The lee 130's pped to fit worked real well in the 7 tcu to fireform. It did show promise at 50 yds, just need to get back to it. To many toys, not enough time, [smilie=l:.
