scope base for 1891 argie.

i have a sportered arg Mod91 ,,the barrel has been cut to 24" and the rear sight base has been removed and a williams adustable "v" put in its place and a nice ramp front sight which i found very hard to see,,, so i d/t for a older Redfield and put that on , i like it but i know eventually i will need more help seeing my targets so does anyone make a scope base (i piece prefered) that will accomidate the charger hump or will it have to be ground down?
a scout mount would have been great but with no rear assembly to attatch too it's a mute point .
hopefully im talking a couple of years down the road when i neesd a scope but i'm planning ahead[smilie=1:

Standard small ring Mauser base will work. A Timmeny Swede low mount safety can be adapted.
