I made a light so I can see into my case before seating a bullet.

I wanted something I could easily see past.
I had a headlamp that the strap went bad on so I took out the teeny led segment, (which has three led's in line and even a switch) soldered on a short lead made with small diameter zip cord then encapsulated it with hot glue. A small piece of soda can glued to the top for a mounting bracket.

I then formed a holder for one of those three battery clips that came inside those little POC fmini lashlights that lasted about a week.. I soldered the other end of the lead to it.
I had recycled the light barrel, so I used aluminum sheet, but plastic or cardboard would work just as well .
I mounted the lot onto the press with aluminum tape but duct tape would work OK.

Just about any recycled LEDs would work and if you dont want to mess with batteries, now you now what to do with one of those cell phone chargers that don't fit your new phone.

This photo shows a little better how small it is.

I tried one of these and it clips onto the knurled knob on the Load Master and will adjust so it shines directly into the case.
On mine, the clip opens up enough so that it will clip onto the die in my single stage presses also. Because of that, it should work very well for many other brands of progressive presses.

They are made of plastic and the quality is pretty lame so I bought 3 when I found them at the dollar store. Since they do work so well, I would gladly pay the ebay price.

I have one of those clip on lights,
it works plenty good but I haven't figured
how to mount it on my Lee C.C.turret press,
plus I'm not crazy about the button batteries.

Now this one Flexible bore light works great.

It has a strong magnet in the base for
mounting/sticking on a press as shown below.
also uses a standard AAA battery.

After taking apart about a hundred .45's to find the few that had no powder I also positioned a light as shown in the OP and now never set a bullet without seeing powder. The press is a Square Deal and the shoulder bolt holding the bellcrank had backed out just enough so the slide wasn't moving.

Check ebay, I saw the batteries as cheap as $6.50 a hundred. They have the alkaline cheap also.

I don't care for batteries at all. My latest experiments are using USP-2 hubs or wall plug transformers (cell phone chargers) for power for more light. There are lots of very cheap ways to go. The new super bright Led's and the lenses are really cool for lots and lots of things..
