Snagged this from a consignment action last weekend: manufactured in 1905, probably upgraded to 1911 spec (new barrel, magazine, and stock modification) 1912-15. All matching #s except bolt (1915 SN). Bore slugs .3075 and shiny as a new dime. Picked it up from the auction house yesterday, cleaned and oiled it last night, took it to the range this morning with a partial box of the loads I use in my pre-war K31. Fired (5) rounds @ 50 yds to see if would print on the paper then fired another (10) @ 100 yds. Group measures 4"x3 1/4" (and the two just off the paper @ 12:30 were, undoubtedly, more my fault than the rifle's) I think I done good. :D
