Who makes Ranch Dog bullet molds? Anyone ever use them. They seem to be of a very interesting type of bullet.

I would suggest you do a search for "Ranch Dog" as there are numerous articles and threads regarding Mike's boolits.

They are made by Lee to Ranch Dog's specifications. I have a couple of his molds and they work great.

Coming here and asking who uses RD molds is like going into a bar and asking "who in here drinks!"

RD molds are fantastic. I'm not quite sure where or who makes them, but they are based off Lee mold blocks and RD is a joy to deal with.

The 425g 45 mold is amazingly accurate in all my various 45-70 rifles and a great hunting bullet also.

I have a few of his moulds and they are TOP NOTCH. Wish I had bought his stuff instead of the other moulds I've got in the inventory.

He doesn't have everything, but if he's got a boolit that will fit your firearm, I say, get it!

He must really hold Lee's feet to the fire because his Lee moulds are way nicer than the ones they sell under their own name. I have a bunch of them and need/want to get more as the funds allow it. Plus he has useful sizes of sizer dies that Lee doesn't sell.

You're confusing Ranch Dog with Dick Dastardly. Dick used to have Lee make his line of BigLube boolit moulds, but now they're made by somebody else, but are basically clones of the Lee moulds in style, not quality, they're higher quality than production Lee moulds. I don't know how they compare quality wise with the RD moulds, as I've never seen one of them (yet). I have one of the BigLube boolit moulds for the 210gr boolit for the ROA, and it casts really nice boolits!

I've only bought one (so far) and it's a great mold.

I have four different molds by Michael; outstanding molds if you prep your mold and allow for proper heating before casting.

I cast 200 RD 311165RF's yesterday. Enjoy!
