Anybody use this in a 32 win special or 32-40

Do you mean 319350? If so, it may cast to small for a lot of 32 Specials. Lymans book says the normal (#2 alloy) as cast is .319. It would work in early 32/40's with .318 - .319 grooves.

You have a Hoch? Great :) Is it a Meacham or a USA. I bought mine in '87 and have shot many thousands of cast in it. I barreled and chambered mine in 32/35 (.308 groove) Stevens. Have you tried to shoot that bullet yet?

USA have a 3030 barrel and 32-40 for it : rifle is not finished out but still shoots preety good in 32 .I have not tried 30 barrel yet .making a brechseater for it .trying some mos - Dar - lyman - brewer moulds in 32 .the 319350 is dropping at 202 gr .

What Diameter does it cast? If it does cast .319 like my book says, cast it in 30 or 40/1 to try to bump it up. It might bump up with BP also. You really need that base band at least .322 - .323 to get it to seal and not gas cut. The breech seaters are easy to make if you have a lathe that you can use.
