Hello, gentleman (& ladies)
Long time lurker, first time poster - just finished up my first work on a Tupperware stock. Was looking to raise the comb on a scoped 10/22, and had an extra synthetic stock lying around. I usually prefer wood furniture, but thought I'd give it a shot.
Cheekpiece raised:

Preliminary sculpting:

Side panels laid in:

Smoothed and final shaping:

Textured rubber coating (and showing my sanding errors!)

Definitely functional, but being up in the frozen north, I rushed the final shaping to a few 15 minute runs out to the workshop before my fingers refused to cooperate.
Plastic is a much, much different animal than wood, forces you to think in odd ways. Ah, well... learned for next time.
